I'm honestly disappointed with how this game turned out. It used to be fun to play online, but the art of "Pay 2 Win" really drags it down as of late. Players don't need skill to win anymore, just money. It really hurt to see this game evolve over time implementing more and more micro-transactions, that completely overthrow the balance in the game. If you are just beginning the game, I'm sorry to say, but you're gonna have to call it quits. The matchmaking system is horrendous and the weapons and armor bought with real money outmatch pretty much everything that can be bought with in-game currency, which is normally earned by playing and leveling up. If anything I doubt that Cubic Games will change their ways because they have completely bought in to Battle passes and Pay to Win Items, and find that is very profitable due to its popularity with kids and/or people who have zero skill and would rather use money as a means to one-up somebody. I sincerely hope you find this review insightful as it is written by a former supporter of this game.
