I don’t think you realize that when I call this a conspiracy theory I do that because it is one. You’re trying to tell me that medical professionals somehow don’t know anything about how to report the cause of death to the point where they’d just paint with the broadest brush possible, throughout every hospital in America and not one doctor, nurse or other healthcare worker goes: “Hold on guys, just because someone who has a covid infection dies doesn’t automatically mean they died because of it. Shouldn’t we account for that in our reports?” I’m guessing you realize that would be just as ridiculous as saying the earth is flat or the moon landing is fake because of sheer scope but what’s the alternative here for your theory that the numbers are somehow inflated? That the government wants to create an illusion of danger for covid because of… em… what was the “why” behind inflating these numbers again?

That’s not at all what you article you posted yourself says. According to the article you provided a death is counted as a covid death if covid played a role in the death of the person in question. They also clarify that this isn’t always night and day cause it is the result of multiple factors and because of that some people will later be declared not to be a covid death just as some will later be declared to be a covid death despite being earlier said not to be one. This is not a case of doctors “inflating the numbers” or counting anyone who dies while having covid as a death caused by covid. You should pull your fly up buddy, your bias is showing.
