i was excited for the over the top looking game but its very mediocre at best
mnk controls are disgusting
gunplay is weak and janky
im fighting bad camera angles more than bad guys
the melee combat is okay and can be pretty fun but the enemies feel very weird to fight and combos are repetitive so thats a shame
if you can get it on a big sale you can probably have fun with it but this is far from 80$ worthy

its just another lego game
still fun but to me its lacking a lot from the original SWL's
the open world makes it so u have literally nothing to do but collect stuff between mission wich is a shame.
i remember spending HOURS upon HOURS in the mos eisley cantina just creating faction chaos and fighting with all of my unlocked character that were roaming around freely.
same for lego star wars the clone wars. exploring the huge ships, freeing prisoners from jail, space fighting, changing systems.
all of these interactions were what made those games fun for me i never cared about minikits and yet theres was still plenty there for those who did
but this one was downgraded into a collactathon ONLY game and once ur done with that well theres nothing left to do so to me this game misses the mark. tho it is still enjoyable
im putting a no simply for the absolute GARBAGE way they treated DLC's. i had bought the most expensive version wich was supposed to include them all only for them to release an even more expensive one and basically tell you to go ♥♥♥♥ yourself and give em your money. its a real shame how lego games had to come to these anti consumer practices when they could make us earn those characters trough gameplay

these menus look like someone took a ♥♥♥♥ all over my screen and they keep overlapping each other like HOW DO YOU ♥♥♥♥ UP SO BAD BRO
its sad cos when u actually manage to play the game instead of fighting it, its actually really damn fun
but skill based matchmaking can go touch itself in a dark corner
