OMG, just spent more than 5 hours in a sim prologue. Saw the game in my recommendations and found out that this is just so entertaining. Also, it's very simple to understand all the mechanics.
I'm definitely going to check the full version so I can unlock all the features. Should give to the prologue a try and then decide if you want to go all-in with the complete version (probably you'll be opening card packs nonstop like me ToT).

This is the first CoD I've played since a long time. It makes me remember the good old days, when I was playing the campaign, the multiplayer with my friends, and also the hours of grinding waves in zombies mode.
Now that I've grow up, it doesn't feel the same, but at least it made me enjoy a lil bit.

Early Access Review
I played the demo including the Makarov update and was waiting for today's early access release.
I haven't played a simulator lately, and my thoughts about them are that they can get boring over time and very monotonous. But with this one, I've to say that I spent almost 5 hours playing today without any pause and I was even surprised at how long I stayed in this game.

I really recommend this game if you are looking for a simulator where you can disassemble every piece of a weapon and repair it with a lots of techniques and machinery you own in your workshop. Also, there are 2 areas where you have multiple minigames to test your weapons.

The only thing I have to say is that for now there are few weapons and customizable options, but this is an early access and I think it's enough for the players to play lots of hours.

I've started playing the game since the first week of the game's release. I've always liked MMOs, but this game it's more like an shared open world with a mixture of singleplayer and co-op content and with a gacha system similar to Genshin.

Personally I like the game and play everyday, but I have to say that it's not very F2P friendly because everytime a new limited banner comes out it powercreeps the previous one, so F2P players have to stick to one element or play like a healer or tank, and if you have luck with the banner you want plus you tryhard and clear almost all the content then you'll catch up the whales. A good thing is that there are events and log-in rewards to help you a little.

Also if you're wanting to start it's not too late, because the game gives you an exp boost proportional to your level. Make sure to join a server of your continent for good ping and with the most number of active players possible. And even if sometimes it can take you a while to queue, there are a lots of veterans that will happily help you!

Edit: 3.0 is coming soon with a brand new map and new simulacras waiting for you to pull!
