Game is worth playing, not worth investing your money.

Played the game before it came to steam and it was great then and still is now. Just need that multiplayer mode

I want to say yes. I really do but the community of people defending the abhorrent progression system need to have a lobotomy for some of the egregious choices the devs decided to do. Solid gunplay with modders making the aspects you want changed be as such, stealth being leagues better than PD2's. Overall, the gameplay is great and i want more of it. Its the backend of it is what is mostly wrong with this game.

The servers being down constantly and the devs giving half-hearted answers to not even slightly relevant questions about the game are always a great sign of things to come. This is going to be one of those games you shelve for a long while cause the team that made this game managed to redo the mistakes of PD2's launch and now want to retread that path all over again

I also want to add for the knuckle-draggers that want to say "The progression is better with it being challenged based". Yes, all your time is spent doing challenges to gain rank. Not your traditional system, but an MMO mechanic that requires you to play certain ways to earn progression, no its not slow but its not any faster than had it been a normal system that everyone is familiar with. There is no incentive to play the game normally, so now you have kill challenge farmers giving up on playing the game. The amount of people on copium saying they played the game normally and still managed to have high ranks is appalling to say the least. They are just liars trying to get in good with the devs

Really good xcom/RTS title just the save system could use manual saving. The devs really need to understand that this style of gameplay is really good just doesnt have any replay value once you beat everything. Aside from that, the game doesnt waste your abilities with nonsense as everything DOES serve a purpose except for maybe the flamethrower. Guns are good but the sidearms i never used as they never had a real time to be used as you looked and tried to prevent having to do so.

If there is one apsect i really want hammered on is the way the missions are presented in a way of being able to move around the map and being able to tackle objectives in whatever way you want. They warn you about not trying to tackle missions in one sitting which you can but i dont get enough reason to not retreat back if you are playing carefully. Playing recklessly will just get you over ran and i like that, the hunt mechanic i feel starts to get obsolete or just broken in someway. its hard to explain aside from it feels silly one lone bug away from everyone sets off a chain reaction of harassment which just leads to you making a kill zone and waiting till the fighting and the hunt is over.

Stress mechanics are nice, i just wish there was more of a reason to have stress than to easily wane it off with a pit-stop to the closet and moving on. The trauma system is really nice, there are some you can easily work with and some you just will not take out again till they redeem themselves or you just have someone who is just better to train out in the field.

You get a perk for eating the world leaders. You get to play Tale of two wastelands and tell your dad that you did. Then spiral out of sanity after your 200th playthrough to roleplay as mostly whatever you want

Fast and explosive. The dialogue is mediocre though but most importantly, all the guns sound amazing

A short but sweet title. Well worth the price, was hoping for a lot more but i enjoyed the time i had with it

The game is a ton of fun and i hope the team has massive success with this title. Chaotic and goofy which can be bad for some but it definitely has its charm
