It breaks my heart to see this game in the state it is. What valve has been doing for years and years is not only a morally questionable "developing" of a game, but a downright unacceptable business practice. Valve has really become my most hated game company. Yes, its a harsh word, but there is no other word to say it. Hatred. I cant believe that it went from my favorite, most respected and professional companies, that i looked at in awe as a kid, and hoped to one day join and work for them, to well, this. Its absolutely unheard of in the gaming scene to see a game be "handled" like this. Its scummy, its ignorant, its disrespectful, and while on paper they have all the power to just ignore their game, on a moral level, they chose to spit in the community's face, and let literal suffering, scams and ruination take over the game, and push it into an unplayable state. This is not a one time silly mistake that could be forgiven, it was a half a decade long negligence that went on because the higher-ups. Its unheard of.
