I bought this game back when it first came out and ultimately gave up on it due to its difficulty. I finally came back this year and finished off the game. Though its difficulty might seem daunting (for non souls-like players), it is working hard and overcoming that difficulty that makes this game feel so rewarding and fun.

I heard that this game was pay to win but I didn't expect it to be THIS bad

This review bombing is so ridiculous. I too am not pleased with how they transitioned from Overwatch to Overwatch 2 and the micro-transactions and failed promises that came with it. The game itself is good and fine though if you take it at face value though.

Gameplay: satisfying (due largely to the style meter system), but repetitive
Music: Very good, but it loses its charm after you hear the exact song every 3 seconds when you engage in combat.
Graphics: Very nice
Story: I may be new to the DMC franchise, but this game's story felt very bare and rushed. The ending seemed very abrupt and unsatisfying.

If I were you I'd just get Bayonetta instead

I found RE3 to be shorter and less scary than RE2, but oddly enough more enjoyable.
Maybe that was just because Carlos is in this one /j

I absolutely adore this whole cast of characters. What complaints I had about the story feeling incomplete were resolved after I played through the other paths.

All of the illustrations, music, and character interactions are executed very well. The DreamGear minigames got stale really fast for me though and the plot (of the murder mystery and the train) was all pretty predictable, but for a free game, I would still recommend it.

This game puts Escape the Backrooms and Anemoiapolis to shame with how realistic it portrays the backrooms through its found footage aesthetic and graphics
There isn't a whole lot to do in this game besides walking and it is quite short, but it is free, so if you are a fan of the backrooms or liminal spaces you might as well check it out.

Chock full of creativity and charm. Whenever you think they are finished introducing new mechanics, out comes another.

This review is listed as a recommendation, but I'm really somewhere in between recommending and not recommending this game. That isn't to say that I think the game is bad, but I think there are certainly some issues that could be resolved and points that need to be addressed.

• I really like the music that is played throughout the game. I wish you could hear it more without having to sit directly under the source of the music.
  
• I like the vibe that is given off throughout the levels.
  
• I like the concept of this whole underground compound.
  
• I like how you are able to interact with (a decent amount of) objects lying around the levels.
  
• I like how the levels create themselves in certain areas.
  
• The pool/resort level is no doubt where this game shines, having all of the positives I just talked about all at once.

• It might be good to make the player aware of tickets and how important they are to progression before you get to the atrium or hold off on hiding them in levels until once you get there so the player is more aware of the situation.
  
• I had the graphics settings on the best quality available and the lighting still looked way overexposed. Because of this, the textures look unfinished and it draws the player out of the experience.
  
• The puzzles (maze/circuit grid) aren't really all that difficult or interesting and are hardly used.
  
• There should be a button to reset back to the most recent autosave because I had to close out of the game multiple times due to getting stuck (in the rocks at the back of the lazy river tunnel) and falling through the floor.
  
• The golf level is way too basic, only looping randomly generated holes. When you establish that you need to carefully check through the maps for tickets in order to progress, having this level be infinite for no reason when you could just leave pretty immediately just wastes the player's time and confuses them.
  
• The sound effects don't properly warp when you are submerged.
  
• The reverb of footsteps in the mall level (before the theater level) doesn't match the surroundings.
  
• Personally, I just really hate the footsteps on tile sound effects.
  
• The way the camera moves in the promotional footage for the game isn't accurate.
  
• Listing this game as horror is very nearly false because the horror only really starts at the end of the pool/resort level (which is played last/second to last). The horror that was established was good, so it is a shame that it wasn't consistent all throughout.
  
• There is a hole in the map in the golf level at the end of the tunnel that takes you back to the elevator.

In conclusion, given the price and availability of similar games, I guess I would recommend it if you are looking for liminal/backrooms game. I am looking forward to the plot to come in future installments and I hope that some of the points I brought up are resolved.
