Full review after completing game.

Im going to list some pros and cons, also Im going to review the campaign as a whole and each characters playthrough.


Ill start with the pros of We Happy Few .
This game provides multiple reasons to jump into Wellington Wells and discover the story behind Joy, its quirky art style is rather pleasant and at times can be really beautiful. The Story is very intriguing and will keep you hooked for hours, it took me 21 hours to finish each playthrough and thats without completing every little thing possible. There is some side quests to help build up skill points and upgrade your character. Each part of the map is different and offers something different when exploring and completing missions.


Now some cons, While i wouldnt say any of these are game breaking and wont ruin your experience they can be quite annoying and really shouldnt be in the game nearly 2 years after release. The AI is abit broken at times with bobbys and pedestrians will randomly appear and disappear, they will also turn on you for no reason and will leave you running away from a whole village of enemies. The combat is abit broken and could do with some work, its especially annoying trying to hit enemies near objects or walls as sometimes it will look like your hitting the enemy but your not. There could be some work done on optimisation as the game can run poorly in some areas, but with a little tinkering you can get the game to run at 50-70 fps and still look great.


Arthur is what we see as the "Main" character and will be the first and in my opinion the best campaign you will playthrough. This lays the base for the story and lets you get to know the world of We Happy Few and most of its characters. Sally is the next campaign and is actually really fun to playthrough while not as long as Arthurs its certainly just as good and learning about Sallys story and relationship with the characters in Wellington Wells will keep you wanting to play more. last up is Ollie while not much can be said about Ollie, what I can say is its the shortest one and will only take a couple hours to complete and is the least fun of the 3.


If your looking for a great story then you will enjoy this game, while some of the mechanics can be annoying at times they wont stop you from having a great time and enjoying what a great job Compulsion have done with this game, I strongly recommend picking this up while its on sale or you can find a key online for about £9 and can get all DLCs with the season pass for about £4 which add 3 extra stories to take up your time!

DONT BE FOOLED BY MY HOURS!

i wouldnt recommend buying this game, if i could refund it i would.

1) Its way overpriced
2) The optimization is terrible, constant fps drop and runs poorly

I played overall probably about 2 hours i forgot to turn it off when i went out one day and thats why i have 23 hours, the game has a good concept but for the price its just not worth it maybe if it was more like £10 or even less but still thats even if you can get it to run without getting 30-40 fps!

If you want a fun bus sim just buy bus sim 18 or OMSI if you dont care about graphics.

The drone control is terrible feel like im just swinging about. Dont buy this how is it £25 i dont know!

IMO better than last years multiple upgrades and things that make it better.

Will i ever play without a russian?

Good Graphics, if you like Lord of the rings you will like this or any medival stuff as this similar.
I didnt play Shadow of mordor so cannot compare to that but for me so far very fun.

very detailed, fun for a couple hours.
frequent updates.
good graphics.
helps you to build your own.
