I’ve been told by several women I’m intimidating just because they found me out of their league. I was also told the sweet spot for a guy’s appearance is somehow above average, but not too attractive.
That’s not to say I’ve been unsuccessful in the dating scene. There are women who make moves on me, but I assume they just want to date someone attractive and don’t mind anything else. But the common understanding is that most girls would prefer to date down in terms of looks, as opposed to guys who date up. Two men, an above average looking man and an attractive man who both similarly charming personality, most women will tend to pick the above average looking guy because of their internal thoughts.
