I found a wand on the ground that looked pretty powerful
i tested it on an enemy
turns out it was an instant kill yourself wand

because there is no way to rebind, i now cannot progress because it needs me to press middle click.
why would you not put the option to rebind keys in your game?

Overall, i enjoyed the game and would recommend to people familiar with metroidvanias, but since the other negative reviews are all either jokes, "what are you doing looking at the negative reviews??? just buy the game!!!", or skill issues, i'm going to say what i actually think some flaws are.

Exploration - its only fun when you discover a new area. many breakable walls are way too subtle, alot of the enemies are a pain to get past without later game upgrades and its hard to tell two rooms in the same area apart on your first playthrough. now that i have 50 hours and have bought every map its fine but it was really a problem in my early game.

Combat - Extremely good, except for the fact that everything is a hitbox. why is a smooth beetle able to deal two damage to me while it is lying helpless on the ground? some bosses will suddenly stop and stagger if you do enough damage to them, which means if you are moving towards them you will get hit even though they are helpless.

Sound and visual effects - very good, not much more to say

Story - it seems like it would be great, but it tries to keep its story a secret. i did the bad ending, which left a bad taste in my mouth. then, i did the good ending, which also left a bad taste in my mouth because i had no idea what was going on. some friends told me to read the hunters journal for the lore, but that barely cleared anything up and i shouldn't have to read a side journal in order to appreciate the ending.

Don't believe the rest of the negative reviews when they say checkpoints are 10 minutes away from bosses. the longest i have ever had to walk from a bench to a boss after dying was about 40 seconds.
