waste of time. i spent what felt like hours fumbling in the dark, trying to figure out my objective was and ultimately being angry. i do not recommend this chapter. the game breaking frame drops make the chase scenes unplayable and when you do get lucky to not get a frame drop, you're met with either a super easy puzzle or a difficult puzzle. the difficulty spikes in chapter 3 are super inconsistent. there were times i had to YouTube a game walkthrough just cause i had no clue what i was doing. on top of the difficulty spikes, you have to deal with the green and purple hands not consistently working, random invisible walls, no invisible walls where there should be so the monster doesn't kill you through the wall, "lore filled" cut scenes, and general confusion as you bump around in the dark trying to figure out where things are. i understood there would be some bugs going into chapter 3, but man, the ending of chapter 3 was not worth it. when i got to the end i just felt like i wasted my time and that i accomplished nothing. im not a big lore person but i shouldn't have to rely on tapes i have to find in the dark to understand whats going on. in chapter 2 it basically spoon fed you the story yet it had extra lore you could find and watch. tbh my negative review is just a rant because im angry because i died so many times just to have a ending that was so meh.

still probably gonna play part 4 though, xoxo
