The gold standard of soulslikes, honestly one of the best games I've played in a while. It does storytelling better than dark souls itself in my opinion, it really makes you care so much more about the characters and world you are trying to save. Combat was really fun too, movement is fluid similar to DS3 making the fast paced bosses super engaging with the perfect guard mechanic. I strongly recommend this game to any souls player if you don't mind linear level design too much.
