Completely abandoned by the dev, Who spends most his time posting cat photos on Reddit, Hes now started a new project and a new game called "IronStrike" Safe to say hes completely abandoned this game with zero intentions to do anything with it, The playerbase is all but dead and riddled with the same bugs it always has been.

Mkay, my experience of battlefield 2042, Early game wasnt too bad, It felt rough and a little unfinished.

The game has some minor bugs still but i find them funny more than annoying, Snipers need buffing as they do little to no damage, And the fact i'm forced to choose a race / gender to play a specific way is kinda annoying.

I think realistically they tried to change a winning pattern in this latest game, As it felt like battlefield 4, If battlefield 4 had been developed by a bunch of "Woke" people.

its a solid 8/10 atm for me, Ill play it when im bored, The graphics are nice to look at, The movement feels okay a little clunky at times, But all together the people you play with make the game.

Has no Hagrid, Very disappointing.

A good game, But it leaves me wanting more.
More too do, More to progress and actual goal of some sort other than to escape the planet.

Even restarting offers little to no replay-ability with every game plan pretty much being the same.
Its a great time waster and offers plenty of thing to do for new players and probably will keep you focused on your colony for a while, However id like more to happen in late game stages bar taking your now overpowered colonists into raids and wiping out enemies, The faction system is amazing but needs to be implemented better i feel like theres much room for what could be done other than "this person hates you, This person likes you, These will trade with you"

The quests can provide a break from the repetitiveness but even there rather drab.

The game is minimalistic and perhaps thats some peoples cup of tea, but if you want to build a colony and build relationships / watch people grow old, Have kids or even do more than just "Survive Thrive, Destroy" in that order probably gonna leave you feeling disapointed unless you mod the heck out of the game.

On Console there isnt DLC But they get the maps.

Both games are the same price.

STOP WITH THE ♥♥♥♥♥ PACKS OF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, WE DONT CARE WE HAVE CUSTOM SONGS, WE HAD MODS STOP WITH THIS ♥♥♥♥!

Literally the entire reason this game grew to be as big as it is, SIMPLY PUT is because Multiplayer Extension and Mods like that, This game would have been dead in the water otherwise.

Every update you make it harder for modders, The ones keeping your game alive, How about you show some gratitude and make some modding resources start implementing popular mods ACTUALLY INTO THE GAME instead just releasing the same whitewashed bs.


We waited 5 months for mods to be fixed after you last ♥♥♥♥ everything up and now for some "Lady gaga" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we are gonna have to wait again.


0 Steam Workshop Support, changing base game coding to completely FK mods in the ass, Lazy devs just making "Songs" and going here pay me 15 Quid for 5 songs, Honestly love the game but there killing it.

By far the worst, Ark rip off to date, Its completely terrible and graphicly un impressive, Everything to do with this game is HUGELY disapointing.

Infact its so clearly an ARK rip off the files within the game

Team mate miss ball, ballchase i must, Owngoal accidentally i will....

Honestly, it gives arma feels and looks amazing, however even though my average fps is 120+
I launch into boot camp and do the training all good running around enjoying it, i then get to the shooting range and bam one bullet drops my fps all the way down to 2

thought hey maybe the tutorial is broken, launched into an actual game same again shot a single bullet and my fps just died, Its not the actual shooting its the effect of the bullet hitting something the game just dies, Its "buggy" at best.

Would not recommend to anyone that plays on a rig thats any better than mine:
