Game has lost a bunch of its community over the years, but it still stands as my favorite FPS game to date. Can't even begin to count how many days I came home from school to be mesmerized by this masterpiece.

This game is fun.
This game has serious problems.
This game has very little replayability.

Personally, I really enjoyed the older planes and tanks. As i progressed upwards though, I found that getting to newer technologies was extremely difficult. There's a massive leap between tanks in some places, and in my case I can't overcome that gap. The game is amazing and tons of fun, but it becomes a struggle more than anything else down the line.

I think this game does the originals an honor. While I believe Borderlands 2 is better, Borderlands 3 is beautiful. Gun-play feels classic while also adding new styles of gameplay and enemies to fight. I've thus far played through the game without friends, so I imagine having a party to play with would be vastly more fun.

Got the game as a Christmas gift and it is truly great.

As it stands, this game has a lot of potential. The problems I find with it are few, but enough for it to merit a bad recommendation. My friends and I coordinated to buy the game and give each other the free copies. This is great and all, but it still wasn't worth it.

There are currently two glaring problems I can fins in the game. The first problem is that damage never seems to be consistent. I can mark numerous occasions where I must've put an entire clip into someone only to be flicked on and killed in 2 hits. Kills are not satisfying either. Most of the time I just felt lucky to be alive only to be gunned down seconds later.

The second problem I found is that whatever tactical plans you make don't matter. As it stands, the game solely benefits those who use brute force and rushing instead of planned strats. Every single match I've played has resulted in the enemy team bum rushing and steam rolling us, regardless of how we planned. We went into the game expecting some mild benefit to thinking smart and having a battle plan. Instead the game rewards ape-brains who w+m1 and its irritating.

If the damage system is clarified and strategy becomes viable, then maybe I would consider playing again.
Don't buy the game in its current state.
