It's Skyrim. To most of the community, this is not a new game (not by any sense of the word). It has been released and re-released more times than any of us care to admit purchasing. I have played Skyrim through three generations of consoles, then I started gaming on a laptop, then had to upgrade, and now I'm playing it on that. I am not even ashamed to admit that if they release it again, I'll buy it again.

Is it buggy? Yes. Without a doubt
Does it crash? Occasionally
Is the courier the single most annoying character in existence? Well, I wish I could throw him into an industrial shredder.

However, the bugs give it character, they make the game what it is. It really only crashes when you cram it with mods. As annoying as the courier can be at times, you don't have to deal with him often.

If you are reading this review because you have never played the game before and you are considering the purchase, just buy it. If I had the disk for this game, I could shove into a potato and it would at least get me through the starting scene. It runs on anything, it is entertaining, you can break the game if you want, and countless mods can make it an infinitely repayable game.

I review this game a little over a year ago and hated it. I had hoped the bugs would be patched at the time of my purchase, but they were not. HOWEVER, the game has come a VERY long way since the time of my purchase and initial review. It is starting to feel more and more like a genuine Battlefield game with each update. I actually enjoy the game quite a bit now. A full year after my purchase, I can finally say i recommend this game. Below this, you can find my initial review.







INITIAL REVIEW:

"I was one of the unfortunate souls that purchased this game because I loved every other battlefield game I have played and I had hope. I knew about the bugs, but they would just be able to fix that all with updates right?

I could not have been more correct, they can fix they game with updates. The issue is... They WON'T. They don't care enough. It was genuinely the most broken and unfinished, unpolished, dumpster fire of a game that I have ever played in my life.

If you're a Battlefield fan for that feel that only a Battlefield game seems to be able to capture, don't get this game. It will only manage to ruin that feeling for you.

To anyone else, just don't buy this. Don't."
