Everything is so much fun. Everything they lacked in graphics they made up for in physics. I didn't have to do any tutorials or watch any videos, and yet in an hour I had a good understanding of the building physics, the combat mechanics, and the plot and mission of the game. While it definitely qualifies as a cooperative survival game, you're also trying to accomplish objectives. They did what few to none other games have managed to do: realistic, yet NOT painstaking. With all these other games like minecraft and rust, you have to pick and choose which one you want, but in Valheim it has it all. The durability system and other things are so unbelievably intuitive, and even grindy tasks like chopping wood and hunting are fun and even take some skill. All throughout the game you're unlocking more features and abilities, but the other things don't lose their relevance/importance. And the cooperative/pvp system! I could go on and on and on, but the point is GET THE GAME you won't regret it.
