Circa 2024-05-06, re PSN issues:
Brought the game on steam, only played on steam. Nothing to sync, now once they have a player base they suddenly start forcing players to make a playstation acc so Sony can scrape data and tell shareholders theyve got more players than they actually do.

cavalry players are a cancer, but outstanding game

Feels unpolished, and not distinctly Dune

bad game mechanics, poorly communicated income values and those incoming curriences are spread across like 6 different menus/icons all across the screen

air units are near worthless
AI is super keen to run directly into the teeth of an enemy, so you have to micro everything else it'll chase down a missile launcher and kill itself

control scheme is janky, needs to invert controls when reversing

Utterly fantastic game
The immersion into Aloy's world is almost always flawless. The small noises, the environmental design, all wonderful

For an "older" game, it's only crashed on me like 3 times in hundreds of hours

it's pretty, but not my kind of game
if you don't have amazing headphone you will die every match lol

ehh, UI look good but the interface is acutally really clunky and inefficent
I'd rather just play civ5

TL-DR: Come for the shoot-em-up, stay for the memes, don't expect too much polish

Honestly, it's pretty good. Campaign is short and sweet, overall pretty good if you don't care for backstory and details
Gameplay loop is rocksolid, good variety of weapon styles and types. CQC executes are a little clunky, tend to throw the camera around but eh, its fine.
