Just plain bad.

They've taken what was once a great source of fun and entertainment and made it into a running simulator with boring buggy parkour, stupidly overpowered enemies, and psuedo-difficulty in the form of virals that spawn every single time you hit an enemy. This game was a waste of my time, effort, and its a waste of money. The developers have seriously dropped the ball and disappointed everyone who was hoping for another game with the magic of Dying Light 1. This game is such a miss-step from the original path that i can hardly imagine calling it a "Dying Light" title. Its just a boring and tedious mess of cosmetic micro transactions and fetch-quests. I am genuinely sad to see what you people have delivered us.
