INTRO.
Bought the game to relax from my examination week. However, to my surprise, the game turned out to be an exceptional experience, surpassing my expectations of it, so I decided to create a review. Ori and the Blind Forest effortlessly blends stunning visuals, enchanting storytelling, and tight gameplay mechanics to create an unforgettable gaming experience(mainly due to dying), like literally I can't recount how much I died from this game, which made me more stressful which is a good thing right?..

Story
The game introduces players to Ori, a small guardian spirit tasked with restoring the forest's balance after a catastrophic event. Through the course of the game, Ori's journey becomes a metaphor for self-discovery, friendship, and sacrifice. The storytelling is done primarily through visual and atmospheric cues, with minimal dialogue, yet it manages to tug at the heartstrings and elicit genuine emotions from me.

SOUND DESIGN
The game's sound design and music deserve special mention. The orchestral score composed by Gareth Coker perfectly complements the game's visuals and emotional beats The melodies are hauntingly beautiful, capturing the essence of each moment. Combined with the atmospheric sound effects, the audio immerses players in the world of Ori and adds an extra layer of immersion.

VISUAL
One of the most striking features of Ori and the Blind Forest is its breathtaking visual design. The colors are rich and varied, seamlessly transitioning between serene and tranquil moments to intense and action-packed sequences. The visual beauty of the game is further enhanced by the fluid animations. In short this game is good in sense of atmosphere, visuals, sound design.

GAMEPLAY
Beyond its aesthetics and narrative, Ori and the Blind Forest boasts polished gameplay mechanics that are both challenging and rewarding. The platforming elements are finely tuned, demanding precise timing and nimble reflexes. Although I recommend this game I WOULD NOT recommend it to people who are looking to play tension-free gameplay. While Ori and the Blind Forest offers an incredible gaming experience, it's important to note that the gameplay can occasionally be intense and challenging, leading to moments of frustration. It's like a relationship with a mischievous spirit that tests your patience, and occasionally makes you question your life choices, but you can't help but keep coming back for more for the sake of completion. ㅜㅜ

CONCLUSION
Ori and the Blind Forest is an extraordinary game that excels in the visuals, storytelling and.. gameplay(if you like intense challenges I guess). Would I play it again? YES AND NO, I have a love-hate relationship with this game so I can't really decide.

Out of the topic but you can check out my guide for 100% completion, hope it helps!

Introduction
This is one of the games where I would just turn cinematic camera on and enjoy the immersion. Do note that I don't usually write a review or make an essay out of it but this game deserve one!. The game itself is very immersive probably one of the best I've experienced. The landscapes are awe-inspiring, from the rugged mountains to the rolling plains, each with its own distinct atmosphere and beauty. The attention to detail is staggering, with dynamic weather and realistic animal behavior breathing life into the surroundings. It's a world that basically begs players to explore.

Development
The greatest thing R2D2 have to offer is the deeply engrossing character development of Arthur Morgan. As a member of the Van der Linde gang, Arthur is a complex protagonist with a troubled past and a conflicted moral compass. Through the course of the game, players witness his transformation from a loyal outlaw blindly following his leader to a man questioning his actions and searching for redemption. The writing and voice acting are exceptional, capturing the nuances of Arthur's personality and emotional growth.

World Immersion
The open world is filled with diverse missions, side quests, and activities that complement the overarching story. Whether engaging in intense shootouts (as always~), doing heists, or simply exploring the wilderness, the gameplay remains consistently captivating. I have over 70+ hours now and I haven't even complete my first playthrough (due to exploring the map, side-activities and irl education/work). With all that, there are still things which I have yet too discover! Like who is Gavin??!

TRY IT!
Whether you're drawn to the allure of the Wild West or simply appreciate a masterfully story driven game, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute must-play. While writing this down I should also note that Arthur Morgan is hands down the best protagonist out there!<3

Story
I've been a fan of the original Yakuza game on the Ps2 for quite some time, and I've always been curious about the backstory of the characters, especially Majima. It's such a treat to finally play as him in Yakuza 0, which is the only game where he's the protagonist. As a fan favorite since the original, it's been incredibly satisfying to delve into his story.

Yakuza 0 has been an absolute joy to experience. The immersion, combat mechanics, storyline, and characters are all exceptionally well-done in my opinion. While it's fascinating to witness the rise of a young Kiryu within the Tojo Clan, Majima's narrative steals the show for me. What's truly remarkable is how the game manages to evoke sympathy for a character whom I once despised so intensely. It's a testament to the game's storytelling prowess.

Overall, I'd rate the story of Yakuza 0 a resounding 11/10. It's truly a masterpiece.

Immersion
The immersion in the game is undeniably impressive. Exploring the vibrant streets of Kamurocho and Sotenbori in the 1980s feels like stepping into a meticulously recreated version of these iconic locations. The attention to detail is remarkable, and both cities bear a striking resemblance to their real-life counterparts. While Kamurocho remains largely unchanged, the absence of the Millennium Tower is a notable difference.

Combat
Unexpectedly, the combat mechanics in Yakuza 0 offer more depth than I initially anticipated. While the overall combat experience is excellent, I've personally found it more challenging to play as Kiryu compared to Majima. This difficulty stems from the limited area-of-effect (AOE) damage in Kiryu's fighting styles, whereas Majima boasts the incredibly powerful Breaker style, which feels somewhat overpowered in comparison.

End
Personally, I'll keep my comments brief, but here are a few additional reasons why I believe this game deserves a perfect 10/10 rating

Pros;
1. Hilarious situation where a child calls you "dad" while her mother works as a hostess, not weird at all..
2. Meeting Miracle Johnson
3. Baka Mitai
4. Got catfished

Cons;
1. Theres only one which is the RNG in the catfight minigame, LITERALLY.

Overall, Yakuza 0 easily ranks among the top three games in the series.

Jodie singing on the streets is enough to evoke a range of emotions in me, yet another outstanding game from Quantic Dream 9/10.
