Panzerkampfwagen VIII "Maus" (Armored Fighting Vehicle VIII "Mouse") is a super-heavy tank produced by Porsche. Production started in 1944 and 141 units were planned, but this plan was disrupted under constant bombardment from the Royal Air Force. As a result, the production of the Maus tank was not possible for 8 months. The flexibility to restore facilities was also reduced so that only 2 tanks and 1 tower would be built instead of 141 tanks. The Royal Air Force would have been able to bring additional Maus tanks into service and continue World War II had German military installations not been brought to a halt by constant bombardment. It might be possible to happen in World War II. It is exhibited in the Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia.
