This game is a good representation of how college feels

It is fun, but I can barely play this game, I do not have a crazy good computer, but it meets the specs and it freezes every 5-8 seconds for a second or 10 seconds. I have it at medium settings, it runs fine playing solo, but online play is a buggy mess.

This game is great, you can tell a lot of care went into it. It is a great game to relax with while listening to music, and for $5 there is basically no reason to not get it.

Plus the developer takes it seriously and it is really wholesome, great job :)

Quite a feat for your first game

This is a great game, for free it is an absolute steal. The $5 for multiplayer is 100% worth it, me and my bud played this for hours, and we do that thing where we buy a game, play the hell out of it, then never touch it again, but we have kept coming back to this. The runs are not super long so you can always hop in and do a run or two, the difficulty is just right (in my opinion, could be too easy for you / too hard depending) the platforming feels nice, maybe the tiniest bit floaty, but I think it is needed because when you try to jump over a boss, you need all the air you can get.

However, the corrupt pickups are flawed. Some are way worse than others, the main 3 i think of is the one that shoots flames in a spiral, the one that shoots a huge bullet 4 times the size of you, and the one that shoots in 4 different directions. It can be really unfair at some points. But, you do not have to pick them up, so it is alright.

I highly recommend!

TL:DR It is a steal, multiplayer is 100% worth it, balanced and does not exhaust itself with length.

Great game, wish you could disable the heart beating sound effect when at low health, it makes me squeamish, but there is a ton of care put into this game and it is obvious. Little details like the foot step bass noise, you can barely hear it even when listening for it, but it adds so much, it is little things like this that make the game great. the sound effects are good, music is catchy and fitting, the aesthetic is great.

Edit: after putting in some more hours, I still recommend this game, if not more. Seen a lot of other reviews just talking about the witch, which is fair cause shes hot but as for the game, it really is great.
The weapons feel nice, melee is a little lackluster without upgrades though. But the guns feel good, some of the enemies feel a little luck based, but once you learn them you can reduce the chance of getting hit. There are a lot of synergies, I have had some good ones, and some goofy ones that are mostly visual. But that is why I like it, not every item is "increases fire rate, but x is decreased, x is increased, x if you take damage, x if this, x if that" some of these are just simply "gorier kills" and "bigger bullets"

The game is hard too! You (probably) won't just fly through the game in your first few runs, it will take some time learning the mechanics.

TL;DR Long lasting challenging roguelike, some enemies feel luck based, weapons feel good, attention to detail, lots of synergies.
+Graeme is a great person, will always support whatever they do.

This game smells horrible

If you don't like jumpscares, don't get this game. I like the atmosphere but I hate the jumpscares. they just annoy me.

The game can be a little exhausting, things will be going well and all of a sudden you get robbed, the car breaks, you have a hole in your bag, you stub your toe so then you get injured, cant sleep, the house starts burning, does not seem like you can win unless you make it easier for yourself. That being said, when the game is fun, its really fun. But it can get a bit draining and defeating when stuff is going well and then RNG ruins the run completely.

neat game, community kind of sucks. they all try to out weird one another 24/7 and spew the same meme over and over again. SiGmA GRiNDsET CoRpOrATE MiNDsET BaSEd CrUeLtY- stuff like that. CIVMAX HURRDURR. it's irritating.

If you want a unique game, you found it. Ignore the community. Game takes a little to warm up to, give it time.

TL;DR Community is annoying, game is neat.

its good, its fun, I like the music, the multiplayer works surprisingly well, though there is no way to communicate. The mods are actually all quality. No monotonous file searching and dragging. Its nice.

However, you go very slow, you push super slow. There is no real way to gain speed. It is very glitchy when it comes to ramps like quarters. Half pipes are impossible because you cant get enough speed. There are 3 things that can happen when hitting a ramp. You will land back on the rail, you will land on top of the ramp, or miraculously land back on the ramp. It seems luck based.

TL;DR Good game, glitchy, dont expect any high speed, you go as fast as you push, which is not fast.

The controls are so bad. As expected from a dream cast game. Music is great, great style. But the controls are infuriating. Also the cop moves at the speed of light so goodluck tagging any sequence on the ground. Imma still play it, love the music, but the controls get old fast.
