Dont let the fact that it is a card game overwhelm you, all you need to pay attention to is the number, and the color / suit. It uses some lingo from poker but I have never been able to play a full game of poker and I knew none of these words or how poker is even played really. It is a bit overwhelming at first but if you stick with it you will be rewarded. I watched a few videos for tips and tricks, but I mainly just needed help with understanding the words they were using. It is not a complex game (unless you want it to be by studying the chances you have for getting each card or min maxing) and there is no punishment for losing. I have won rounds by seeing a high number and going "high number is good" and doing my upgrades based off that. I love the meta progression, but if you dont, there is a button to unlock everything in the game. I suck at math, I cant remember rules for card games, and poker looks stupid, but I have found myself coming back to this game time and time again, you DO NOT need to know how to play poker. You don't even need to know what hands (card combinations) there are because if you click info, it will show you examples of the hands.

Overall, yes it is a "poker roguelike" but you dont need to know a single thing about poker or card games really aside from suits going together or colors going together. I play this game before work to wind down and get my brain working just a little bit, it is a very relaxing game and I think just about everyone can find something to enjoy about this game. Definitely worth a shot :)

Played this when it was "Juice world" on itch.io and fully completed everything in the game, saw everything. That was a few years ago, I'm very happy it is on steam now, but disappointed by the amount of content added.

I also never found a weapon that made me drop all my other ones so I would end up holding onto all of them and it was just eh. Very excited to see what is added next.

Could you please have someone look over the game and fix all the spelling errors? Idk who did the writing but they have some issue with words ending in "oes" theres quite a few spots where its spelled like "oss"
For example when speaking to a coworker, they say "we are going to be heross"

In one of the boss fights the pre-fight text says something like "have we have the same mission" and it was in the beta like that too, please double check text before publishing it.

I appreciate the audio setting to disable the highpass effects, the blackhole sound hurt my head after hearing it the first time lol.

The art is cool, like the mesh of styles from the old 3d pc rendering stuff to digital blender claymation enemies. The pixel art is a little weak on some characters though.

The "horror" sections are a bit cliche and on the nose, seen it a million times and has been done a lot better before. Also whats with the repeated "not smart but cute" joke thing, comes up a couple times.

I think the game is trying to do too many things at once "jack of all trades, master of none"

The steam library picture with the yellow eyes reminds me of doki doki literature club, the face with "guilty" seems like a pretty close rip of the undertale flower thing boss fight, same with the worm boss 3d sprite. Then obviously a lot of similarities to yume nikki.

I like that the story isn't very deep or complex so it's easy to piece together as you play instead of needing to watch 6 youtube videos to understand it.

Some of the boss fights feel very luck based and unfair, the worm boss in the beta was fun and once you learned the pattern, it was an easy satisfying fight, now with the static bullets all over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ place its kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the amount of times i get pinched into the wall of static bullets and forced to use a black hole is not fun or fair. The later bosses are absurd, I had to just brute force my way through and it sucked.

The final boss is a bullet sponge pushed to the absolute maximum, it was an endurance test and I didn't like it at all.

It takes way too long to finally feel overpowered (which is then immediately crushed when facing a boss) to the point that I wouldn't really consider this a survivors-like, its just a bullet hell with 100+ enemies on screen like that dynasty warrior game or whatever its called.

The music is not very good imo. I liked it at first and then it got old super quick, I like older breakcore stuff but this just seems super generic, repetitive, unimaginative, and unmemorable. Personally think there needs to be more variety than the 5 chord amen break loop for 40 minutes straight.

This has come off as more harsh than originally intended but I do LIKE the game, I keep coming back to it. I like the enemy designs and weapon effects, super satisfying to get like 9 para-sights and hear the crunch noise and see them flying all over the place.

Overall I am slightly disappointed after playing the beta, but for the price, its a no brainer, and I think for less critical people that dont have a stick up their ass, it is a great experience.

Obviously the music is great, it carries the game imo. The gameplay is pretty good, I like the unique discard mechanics. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the story and writing. Whoever did the writing for this game seriously needs to be fired lol this is like, tumblr fan fic levels of writing. Kill countless demons and call god stupid, but still say "crap" every few lines. Was this written by a horny atheist in middle school? It astounds me that they were able to get machine girl to make an entire soundtrack to this game, but couldnt get a half decent writer. It's also really cringy that all the females in this game are overly sexual and flirty with nearly every dialogue in the game. White is just so perfect that every girl can't help themselves around him and hes oblivious and hot and- its really really bad and embarrassing.

If you make a neon white 2, please get a different writer, this is horrendous.

Played the beta or whatever build on OperaGX awhile ago, was excited for this game

So far it seems a little unbalanced for solo play, too much to do at once, but it feels smooth and clean.
The graphics have a neat style and it is consistent so far.

The music does not match the game at all, the music isnt great, but its not horrible, its just super jarring hearing some edm hardstyle while shooting and building ♥♥♥♥ on a raft.

i hate spiders. The spiders have guns.

The game is very fun when it works, but theres quite a few game breaking bugs. Void jumps not working, enemies not showing for some people, wormhole not despawning, stuck ships, spawning outside of a ship and unable to move, spawning in walls of the ship unable to move, I have not been able to complete one mission today due to these bugs, so maybe wait before buying, but when the game is working it is a very nice game to play with friends.
