Starts out amazing! It's great and although the scaling is bad because..... it's the beginning of the game and you shouldn't be as strong as you are, you just are. However, the ending of this game is just over the top and butchered. The built up this showdown WAY too early and made the ending of the game a garbage fire. This is supposed to be the beginning of the game. A small SMALL part of it. But no, they had to make it end like a stand alone game and ruin something that I was excited about and looking forward to. They have honestly made me physically ill after the epic conclusion to leaving midgar. I am unsure if I want to play the next chapters anymore since the original was obviously better than this. It's not a remake, it is a dumpster fire. Great visuals but poor twisting of the story at the end. This isn't what people hoped for (not me at least). I could get behind some reworking of the story. The inclusion of Zach, Biggs, Wedge, and possibly Jessie? That's fine! But don't ruin the experience to make a climactic conclusion to something that is JUST A SMALL CHAPTER, let alone the beginning of the game that you want to have a epic fight. The escape was good enough! Don't ruin this anymore..... please.
