After 50 hours, I will say I am still having a blast with this game, both solo and with friends. But remember, it really is early access. You are buying into a pre-alpha version of the game where the developers are looking for player feedback in order to improve the game in real time. If you are expecting a complete or near-complete product, turn away now.

Aside from the server and performance issues, MADFINGER GAMES really have themselves a solid foundation here and from seeing them communicate on Twitter with the player base and the constant hotfixes since release (to which I can see the performance improve day by day) I am confident that with time this game will flourish into something amazing. MADFINGER said something along the lines of, this game is only 30% of the final product. There is a decent amount of re-playability within this 30%.

I would suggest watching some videos on the game and if it peaks your interest, purchase the $35 edition to get started and make sure it runs (because if it does not then you will be within the time frame for a refund and/or you would not have invested too much money). There are plenty of settings guides on YouTube to help optimize the game the best it can until these performance issues are ironed out.

When the game runs smooth, it is an amazing experience. It is similar and different to Escape from Tarkov in many ways which gives it a fresh unique feel to the extraction shooter genre but also a similar styled game-play loop that you will be familiar with if you played EFT. . If you are holding off on purchasing the game, at least continue to keep this game on your radar in the future.

A fun and slightly challenging puzzle game. It's free so it does not hurt to try.

If you are looking at reviews to see if the game is worth picking up after its mess of a launch: the short answer is YES.

I was first gifted the game at launch for Xbox One - disaster. Waited a while and got it on PC and you guessed it - disaster. After this I wrote the game off. But after the 2.0 update I saw everyone was praising the game so I finally gave it a shot and I am so glad I did. Between the characters, gameplay, story, and more this was one of the greatest games I have ever played. I'm not kidding.

It is a must play, seriously. Wake up f*** up Samurai.
