Are you looking for a realistic, authentic, high-depth ancient city building simulator? Well, I have some bad news for you...

Where shall I begin? Ah yes, the basics: water and food!
  • There is wine in this game (and it is supplied to households), but no water (from wells) in an arid environment. The only water-related building is noria, and it's used exclusively for irrigation.
  • The only food resources in this game are fish and meat. However, grains and fruit (grapes aside) should all be present in the game and available as separate resources. At the very least, fruit gathering (olives as well, ideally) should readily be available from the early game as it does not require any advanced technology. For more info see Ancient Greek cuisine[en.wikipedia.org]:
The cuisine was founded on the "Mediterranean triad" of cereals, olives, and grapes, which had many uses and great commercial value, but other ingredients were as important, if not more so, to the average diet: most notably legumes. Research suggests that the agricultural system of Ancient Greece could not have succeeded without the cultivation of legumes.
    ...
In ancient Greece, fruit and vegetables were a significant part of the diet, as the ancient Greeks consumed much less meat than in the typical diet of modern societies. Legumes would have been important crops, as their ability to replenish exhausted soil was known at least by the time of Xenophon.

If you still think there's nothing wrong with this game, read on.
  • No unit collision, and no proper unit-object collision, either.
  • Pathfinding problems (quarry workers get stuck in the environment; produce movers don't use roads, etc.).
  • Buildings are built instantly, not gradually (the only exception is the theatre).
  • Some boats have no masts and/or oars. None of the boats have sailors.
  • As the raiding army's ship was reaching the shore, it sailed right above the underwater cliffs... miraculously not being hit by them.
  • Upon being defeated, the survivors of the raiding army simply disappeared along with their ship, with no sight of them retreating.
  • Clicking the crate icon ("One of the resources has reached its storage limit" message) in the top left doesn't focus on the related building.
  • The event system is very rudimentary.
  • Not all text-based UI elements are updated upon changing the game language.
  • Mixed localization images throughout help articles.
  • Other instances of suboptimal/unpolished localization (inconsistent terminology, for instance).

As the devs still haven't addressed my playtest feedback, I wonder whether anything listed above is ever going to be fixed...
