TDL offers a unique gaming experience with the most authentic audio design I can remember, where most of the time you are trudging through the snow, very slowly, praying that you don’t see a wolf around the corner.
But predators are the last thing you need to worry about, because you will most likely die of cold, and you will have to die.

The strongest point of the game is the atmosphere.The weather, the cold, hunger, fatigue really immerse you in survival, and the music makes you enjoy the moment to the fullest.

The second important aspect of the game is the exploration of the world and the mechanics of the game.Most likely, your experience will be similar to this. First you survive a day, then two days, then four, the next time you survive a whole week. I love games that offer such a methodical approach, like in games: Outer Wilds, Shadow of Colossus and Breath of the wild.

I recommend it to those who are looking for a unique and challenging experience, and not another sandbox clicker.

We all know what dark souls like are and this game is full of mobs that just try to throw you off the platform right onto deadly spikes. BUT if you gather all your will into a fist, it turns out that such moments are passed already on the second try, and if not on the second, then on the third, probably....


As I already mentioned, there were moments that worried me a lot and the game seemed very difficult and punishing for any mistake. But after going through the whole game, you understand how easy the game is if you devote time to it, and different parts of the map are passed at different stages of the game. The map and locations here are very well thought out and welcome curiosity and ingenuity.
Talismans are not pretty, because they do not dilute the gameplay, but there are simply very strong and very weak ones, sharpened for different builds, here you can even play as a mage. A swordsman mage.

This is the best part of the game, the music is simply beautiful and perfectly conveys the mood of each location. The pixel art is simply magnificent, the best I have seen in a very long time. The game's lore is confusing, but by the end of the game everything falls into place, and if the player wants to understand it completely, the game offers a second playthrough with secret paths that were previously inaccessible
