I kept a good eye on this game for a few months now, and all I can say now that i own it, I'm not dissapointed at all. Yes, the battle controls are a little wonky, but, it still shows off great. The "collisions/havesting" can use a little love, but, once again, not too harsh as of now. Survival games are in my wheelhouse, so this game is right up my alley. Albeit that some of the stuff you need to gather you need to find and how to find it, but that's what makes the game so great so far. Figuring out where everything is.

I'm still not to sure about the hunting aspect of the game, seems a little too harsh for right now, I know the devs have worked on it and made it a little easier, but, without a sneak function, I dont think many will try their hand at hunting. I haven't had a chance to hunt yet, but i've saw others mention about the same thing. I hope they fix or make it a little more easier to hunt.

All in all, I think this is shaping up to be a great game in the survival genre, and I can't wait to see what the game has in store. Hopefully "old ways" won't appear again like in the past. Cheers!!

I've been looking for this game for a while. It finally came out! Graphics aren't cutting edge, but the game play is pretty good so far. The devs are updating and fixing bugs in a speedy kind of way, which is important to me and many others when it shows the devs love this game and will do anything to keep us playing. My hats off to the devs! Replay of the game is going to awesome, since there is so many places you can protect and build your base. Strategy is king in this game, learning it is a little slow, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.

I will be playing this game for a very long time, and the updates and other things that will be added are going to be fantastic! Can't wait till they become a part of the game. If you like a strat based game, this is the game for you! I rate it 9.5!!1

Well, was it worth the wait? Hell yeah!!!! Great EA so far. Lag was at a minimum, but can use a little tweaking. I noticed the lag was coming in a cave. Once in caves, it's good to go. The AI's are AWESOME!!!! I love what they did with the AI smarts. I was completely surprised of the new cannibals. I will not name them here, as I dont want to spoil it for the rest of y'all. But, so far, the game is 80% flawless from what I have played so far. I highly recommend this game to anyone, if you like building and horror aspects of the game. The Forest was good, but SOTF is even better!!!! Thank you EndNight!!!!!

OMG! This is the game I've been waiting for. Playing for about 6-7 hrs, and had nothing but fun! The devs really put their heart and soul into this title. I was simply amazed how great this game plays. I would suggest this game to anyone, esp if your a Potter fan. I, myself, wasn't really into the Harry Potter movies at all, but I found this game to be soo darn good.

I really don't write reviews for games, I just love to play them. But this game I was waiting for. It was well woth the wait. Should you pick up the game? IMHO, yes! If you like survival aspects, building, games like Diablo(not as fast paced as Diablo; mind you), Lost Ark..ect..ect, hardly any bugs on launch, worth the price tag(for now till full release) you like vampires, and having great pvp and pve choices. Def worth a buy!

Not the typical RE game, but the game is awesome! I didn't think the RE devs could come up with something really sinister, but they did! And they did a fantastic job. We had zombies in the first 3 games. 4 and up changed the way RE game are done. Which is a PLUS in my book. As a RE fan for many years, this game is definitely worth the price, Since its on sale(or was on sale for 29.99, sorry y'all who missed the sale)I figured might as well get the game now and complete my RE trilogy. Even if it's not on sale, it is definitely worth the 59.99 price tag.

Blast from the past! I remember the old SNES version of this game. Loved it then, loving it even more now with the updated graphics and game play.
More options than what I remember from the old version of the SNES title. With the addition of "heroes" in the game and different scenarios, makes this game a keeper. Not to sure about replay factor. Since it only has different difficulty levels, but I believe the story and events in the game still are the main thing no matter which difficulty you pick.

Still all in all, Still fun to play and relive your past childhood. 8/10 rated by me.

Hats off to the 2 man dev team. DK, wonderful job by making this the BEST paranormal sim ever. I'm just wondering if DK himself was a ghost hunter at one time, because he nailed it! I cannot wait for the proposed updates within the game. This game is going to be the best. Easily will make GOTY, next year. Yes, some bugs are still present, but nothing that will ruin the gameplay. Dev's are always fixing the bugs daily(Which is a PLUS!!). I would recommend to all. Great job and keep us wanting more!!

Well, being a long time player of the game and having 4000+hrs, I feel, I need to put my two cents in. Ark is a fantastic game, with all the DLC's, and the new Genesis DLC. Yes, we have had some minor problems with the game, but none that really "broke" the game. Some hit boxes can be very, well, unforgiving. But, Ark still is a great game imh. I would suggest this game to anyone. Here to more DLC's and the great creators of mods in the workshop, who make the game more enjoyable.

Great game so far, devs are really putting a lot of effort to get this game up and running. I'm loving it, and being a fan of these types of games, it's on my high lists of games I will play for a very long time. Highly recommend it if you like these types of games.
