For starters, just the ability to get fat feels like a privilege: It's proof that you aren't starving! In fact, it's more likely a sign you're probably being well taken care of because people who care about someone usually makes sure that person is well fed. Not only that, being fat is usually caused by eating foods that taste amazing! Literally eating what you want feels great and it never feels like stressful in the the moment when you just enjoy food that is right in front of you. In addition, a lot of people who gain weight are mostly worried about "what are other people going to think" and end up stressing themselves with worrying about what society thinks instead of just giving in to what they enjoy
