I'm a late-comer to the TF2 party, only started playing a year or so ago. It makes me sad to think that even newer players won't even get the *decent* experience I did back when bots were still a problem, but the bare minimum of manageable. Cheaters join casual in groups and mass-kick those who call them out, bots render entire servers and regions of the world quite literally unplayable. Seeing the state of this game today is like watching a priceless piece of artwork get defiled as the artist watches indifferently.
This priceless, timeless piece of artwork still has many admirers, and the potential to attract so, so many more. It's kept loyal fans coming back for 17 years, and VALVE willing, it can have 17 more if only they restore it.
