Helldivers 2 has been one of the most fun experiences in recent gaming history. The gameplay is incredibly fun, the community is unlike any other, and Arrowhead (the devs) have shown themselves to be some of the best in the industry.

However, please keep in mind that Sony is the publisher for this game. Publishers have a unique ability to rank fantastic titles in the name of…shareholders? Bottom lines?

For now, the game is as fun as you could ask for, but with Sony at the helm, all you can really do is hope this doesn’t change and that DEMOCRACY PREVAILS!

Currently playing in early access. I can say the game definitely needs to qol updates and various fixes, but overall it is a fun survival game that separates itself from others in the genre. It is not my favorite game if you are a solo player, but if you have a few friends to play with, Nightingale is a blast.
