there is no coin shortage. there is a "coin scare" stop denying customers change when they specifically ask for a certain way they need it to be. i need quarters to wash my clothes. just because there is a "coin shortage" doesn't mean my way of living is free or on pause from paying with quarters. that is **illegal** denying me coin and very rude. doesn't look good. went to another store no problem. i figured explaining to the cashier that i need them for clothes ($2 in quarters is all i needed) she would understand but either way no one should have to explain to a major chain market why they need change. very embarrassing experience.
