I am writing this from my shell of a home, the war has been raging for nights now, I can no longer sleep, the bullets ring every couple minutes. It's dark my eyes barely work anymore the gas keeps coming it stings my skin, like a fire burning bright in an eldritch tomb. I see him every night now he gets closer every time I blink, I see him, I see him, I don't see him. He's close now i can feel him breathing in a slightly odd way, I can hear his blood in his lungs pushing and pulling from his throat, continuing on for hours i fear to light my lamp because I do not know what will be there, and for the fact the gasoline spilled on the floor is soaked into my bed roll, the gas burns my nose i feel more and more light headed... I fell asleep? for the first time in a very long time but i awoke in a shower, The shower smelt of blood and rot flies were bunched up into a ball in the corner their buzzing rings out heavily into this ghastly shower. I eventually gathered up the courage to grab the shower head and spray the buzzing mass of flies, What I seen I could barely even comprehend I felt sick to my stomach, I vomited all that came out was a pink bar of Zote branded soap. I stared for a very long time before the thing in the corner moved it was balled up in the fetal position, he slowly stood up showing his face... It was my dad he stared at me, no he looked behind me. I slowly turned to see the handle for the shower, I turned it releasing a strong wave of murky brown water, God it smelled horrible like an up heaved ocean revealing daemonic creatures built of rot and hate. I turned back to my father, he started to laugh I did too, I don't know why I did, but I did. And i figured out yes, I do still shower with my dad.
