This is a great game buried under a ♥♥♥♥ port.

Among other issues, the PC controls for helicopters and tanks are sluggish, as they simply replace the joystick aiming with mouse controls, ignoring the fact that the camera is locked to the traverse speed of whatever you are driving. Motorcycles flat out don't work, with a significant delay between pressing a button and the motorcycle actually turning. Some of the challenges are literally broken and require unintended routing or techniques in order to bypass Square Enix's own errors (Looking at you, Laguna Blast). Not to mention the fact that if you ever DARE to tab out of the game, the game flips a coin. On a heads, nothing happens. On a tails, the game decides that it must run in a window at 300x400 resolution. Why? No reason, its just a ♥♥♥♥ port.

If you work through these bugs, you find a sandbox replete with red things to destroy and explosives to destroy them with. However, there is one final issue the game contends with:

If the game crashes you could lose 27 hours of progress with no recourse. The only way to avoid total loss of progress is to MANUALLY CREATE backup saves, because apparently Square Enix cannot program multiple save slots or even an autosave. If the jank controls and bugs were the only issue, I'd be willing to recommend this to anyone, but if the developers can't even consider a simple backup save, I cannot recommend it and actively caution against buying this game unless you are willing to manually work around Square Enix's bugs.
