campaign alone is worth it, they have honestly made great updates and the graphics are fantastic. Yea it can be a tad laggy sometimes with large groups and large battles...but I think its well worth it. They have come along way and Ive recently started to put more time into 1v1 online. All the different civs make it fun, even if there tends to be a meta. You still have a great chance to outsmart your opponent and being able to have micro control adds another fun skill gap.

The grind is endless and for some reason I cant get enough of just letting this game beat my brains in. Steep learning curve. Lots of DLC to purchase is a bit of a bummer along with the perk grind. People who have been playing for awhile will have an advantage over you for quite some time. I say it could take at least a 100 or so hours before you start to understand builds. And it will take even longer to learn how to play around them. Don't be surprised running into one of the many salty killers/survivors. It goes both ways, so best of luck! You are gonna need it if you want to solo. Playing with the friends makes it alot easier survivor wise.
