Rust is a very fun game to play with a group of friends, I do not recommend this game as a solo for the time being. The devs of this game really do need to fix a handful of mechanics I feel the general population of players would agree with, I have a list of changes that would actually make this game more enjoyable for players such as myself.

1. Compound Bow: The damage is the same as bolt and L96. The fact a tier 1 weapon can do the same amount of damage as t3 snipers blows me away, I do not see this being fair at all and I also see no reason for this weapon to even have a place in Rust.

2. Roof Camping: A mechanic that has been in the game for years, yet has been more popular since the launch of the OTV streamer server. I see roofcamping as a way of defending a players base from raids, not sitting in a tower all day because you actually just blow ass at PvP. I honestly have no idea how this mechanic has lasted this long in a game with positive development. I'm just sick of having fair PvP with a group, just for them to sit on their roof immediately after being wiped by mine. Roofcamping is just too forgiving, a player virtually cannot lose anything while sitting on their roof, how is this fair to other players that actually roam for gear, guns, etc.

3. Large Compounds: Building large bases in this game is honestly very cheap if you're in a larger group, I feel like the upkeep costs for bases should go up much more the higher/larger the base is.

4. Raiding: The cost for raiding in this game is super cheap honestly, like what 1500 sulfur for a rocket or c4? The only nerf to raiding facepunch has done to this game, was the silent raid nerf, other than this raiding has not been changed. The costs are just too little imo.

5. Crawling: I understand Facepunch is trying to make Rust new player friendly, but crawling just isn’t the way to go about it. Crawling just takes away the traditions of the game, what happened to going deep on unsuspecting players? A player now has a 1/10 chance to go deep on someone who messed up, what’s the actual point of being able to close doors while downed. This just elimates a feature that was meant to be in Rust. Also being able to craw while downed just makes it 10 times harder to find a players weapon as they’ve crawled from where they previously were.

Conclusion: I myself have poured 1.5k hours into this game, I do recommend this game, but would honestly like to see some sort of changes. Each wipe Facepunch just adds nonsense ♥♥♥♥ to this game, rather than fixing the actual issues players have with it. Rust is a very enjoyable game if you like the grind, I would just like to see this game go in the correct way it should.
