As of leaving this review I have 200 hours into the game, and because of that I am leaving this review to show my support for this game.

Story stuff (skip for review)
Before I owned this game on computer I owned it on my Xbox 360 (it was a while ago okay) and after I got stuck on the Twins (Thinking it was the easiest of the three mechanical bosses, therefore not having the megashark) I basically quit the game. About two years later I have recently signed up to Steam and after browsing for a bit, I see Terraria. I buy it and after waiting for it to download, I make a character and a world so I begin to play. Since then I have put an entire 200 hours into the game over that fairly short amount of time. That's more then 8 days straight. I imagine that by the time anyone sees this it'll be more because despite beating Moonlord I still want to continue playing this game. I love it.


Review:

I feel that this game is great but definitley has its flaws. First of all I think there should be more and better rewards for doing fishing quests and fishing in general; it's a part of the game that I find is fun but isn't enticing enough to get people interested.

My second point is that a lot of the bosses will need potions to beat them for the first time, especially in expert mode, but I feel that it can be really time consuming and difficult to get one potion that's probably going to go to waste because you die aftER YOUR MOUSE DISCONNECTS!

My third point is very specific and I bet wont affect most people but... I have a problem with the RNG and with Moonlord drops, I have got at least three masks and two trophies but despite getting everything else, I havent got either Star Wrath or Meowmere. I have beaten him at least 12 times and have got every other weapon but despite being a meelee class I have not got either. I feel the Moonlord could have slightly higher odds of getting weapons suited to the class of armor you are wearing.

These are just little nitpicks and I have solutions to all of them (1 = Better loot from quests, 2 = a Potion NPC, 3 = changing the drop chance) but overall its a great game and I highly recommend it. Thanks for reading and have a good day :)
