Unbelievable. This game caused my entire steam platform to crash SEVERAL times while auto updating... NEVER in my life have I experienced such BS. I had to force close steam through task manager and relaunch it in offline mode just to access my library and uninstall it. Relaunched steam as usual afterwards and it works seamlessly... what a joke. Play this game at your own discretion. I don't know why this happened and I could careless to figure it out all I know is for a fact that this game and its update procedure was the cause for the steam platform crashing.

Early Access Review
3 hours in I finally got geared enough to challenge the first world boss.

30 minutes of repeated deaths and destroyed terrain I finally beat it.

Was instructed to use the boss item.

"Nothing Happens"

???

No further instructions were given....

10/10 would recommend.

Alright. Short review here. As of now I currently have a little over 10 Hours of game play.

In general the game is amazing and feels well done but, like any other game on release. It needs to be polished.

There are bugs.

Everywhere.

Even your character itself becomes a bug at some point.

The Story line is fantastic.

The Sounds are really captivating. I played while in a call with some friends and there were times where I had to leave the call because a part of the quest seemed REALLY interesting.

The concept and visual quality of the game is really pretty and the cyber-futuristic theme they were aiming for hit pretty much spot on as you'd expect. Although, there are some things that kind of kill the immersion. One, for example, are elevators and car rides freezing when you open your cellphone to text or scroll through messages.

Overall I'd 100% recommend this game, but at the same time If you're a person of discipline and can resist the urge to try out a brand new game I'd recommend even more than you wait until they push out a few updates to clean up some of the obnoxious game play and visual bugs that currently exist. (Which I should've done).

I've never pre-ordered a game in my life. This was the first, and the amount of bugs I've encountered has been insane. Some were amusing and others not so much, and primarily as a multiplayer game person, I've been enjoying this single player game so far.

I'm curious and somewhat excited but scared to see what direction they'll take this in once the multiplayer gets implemented. If ever. lol.

Alright you little wanna be pirate king's, I've felt that I've wasted enough of my life on this game that I should tell you all how I feel about it.

This game itself is AMAZING... at first.
Graphics are astonishing, it runs smoothly, the controls are very fluid, and the some-what story line is very engaging.

Anything else after that is just revolving around repetition.

Going to the same islands, fighting the same monsters, completing the same events, obtaining the same items, reselling them to the same merchants. Naturally, that's going to be boring, BUT that's not the main issue here.

The issue occurs when you have a ton of loot and have to carry it onto your ship ONE by ONE whilst being UNABLE TO SPRINT so you have to walk from point A to point B. You could be holding something as small as a key and still have to walk at the speed of a broken leg and to me personally, this is a literal joke.

Another major issue is the imbalance between players. See, as a single player with a 2 man ship, you could complete one of the skull events and get completely screwed over by some losers waiting in the distance with a 4 man ship, and the fact that there is no safezones, even at major locations such as the ports or harbors adds onto the fact that you've wasted a few hours of your life farming loot just for people to take it from you and there is LITERALLY NOTHING you can do about it.

Well... at least on the bright side you won't have to spend another hour or two putting it onto your ship AND another hour or two taking it off to sell to merchants.

6/10 from me.

Some thing's I'd highly recommend to improve the game's QOL.

1. Monster variants. I'm tired of fighting skeletons that run away from you and sharks that swim around in circles around your boat.

2. Safezones. I don't want to have to add another 2 hours onto the 2-3 that I've invested running from User5849872 cause he saw me comming from the direction in which he was headed.

3. Allow people to run or speed walk while holding items. I can understand that not being able to run with a chest is logical but bro, you telling me that the key I gotta use TO OPEN the chest is almost as heavy as the chest itself? C'mon man, get it together.

I'll add things over time as I find necessary but right now it's 3:46pm, I just woke up and wanna finish my pancakes.
