This DLC is brutal, and I dig it!

Let's get the obvious out of the way: it is HARD! Probably some of the most difficult bosses in the entire genre, and I would go so far as to say that the Scadutree Fragments are mandatory if you don't want to break your surroundings. Other than that, it's more Elden Ring, and that is a good thing. It may seem a little pricey for a DLC, but if you enjoyed the base game, you'll find the price is justified.
