A cold and dark night, I am filled with fright
But a bit of hope, I see a white light
Through the darkness and evil, I see you clear
And so easily would pass, another year

You held my hand through dark times
When I could not see, I hear your chimes
I was lost, but now I was found
All because of your sweet sound

But it would not last
As a monster came, deep from within my past
It extinguished your light
One I tried too hard to relight

I am left alone again, in the darkness of my mind
Waiting
Waiting for a light to come and save me
I try to resist, the darkness will not phase me

I feel so alone, when I'm without you
For what reason, I have no clue
It pains me to see you, but not speak
I'm not insane, nor am I weak
I made a promise, a promise of silence
So that we are both safe, from the dark tyrants

I stray so far away, from the world I once knew
Yet I cannot dare ever, forget about you
So close to me, but yet so far
It brings a tear to me, almost every hour
Take me somewhere nice, where we may play like mice.
