I should be able to install a game and play multiplayer immediately and properly. After hours of troubleshooting this damn game from forza support tickets to reddit threads to youtube tutorials, nothing has worked. The best forza support has managed to do is link me to two support pages that I've already seen before (neither of which actually helped). I'm not going through a thousand ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hoops and hurdles just because microsoft's awful code monkeys can't do their job. Fix your damn game.

Error code 0x80600001, measurement quality failed, 0 locations, region failed (0x0), server id is a bunch of 0's. What a joke of a game.

this game is just tacky. That's the one word to describe it. Just tacky.

better than cyberpunk

gameguard error 114 makes this game QUITE LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE. As in, I cannot even open up the damn game without it immediately crashing. There's no permanent fix, I have to reinstall the game and then restart my computer to play it. If I could refund the game, I would.

Wow. Wow wow wow. Took me 39 hours for my first playthrough, where I took the time to clear hordes I happened upon while on my travels from place to place and tried to unlock every single gun. This is definitely one of my favorite games of all time, and almost certainly on my top 5 favorite singleplayer games of all time. It's one of the best single player experiences out there, but not without its flaws... And here's some.

!!! [[SPOILER WARNING]] !!!

- DATA COLLECTION POLICY. If you have read some of the other reviews, this game's data collection policy is incredibly intrusive. It's to the point where it's practically a keylogger. It's that bad. Turn off your wifi, and block this game on your firewall or something so your data doesn't end up getting sold on the dark web or some ♥♥♥♥. This is my biggest gripe with this game.

- Slow pacing. You'll only deal with the same type of zombie for the first half of the game or so, then the game just suddenly picks up pace and rapidly starts introducing new zombies. The overrall pacing of the game is just pretty slow in general, but isn't really a big deal when the game is thoroughly enjoyable throughout. I never found myself BORED while playing this game, even with my gen Z attention span

- Taking control out of the player's hands. There are many, many instances where you'll be forced to sit and watch a cutscene in order to understand more about what you're doing, the world, and the plot. While it is for the most part interesting and worth a watch, I think the game should've made more attempts to deliver information during gameplay sections, while you're still controlling Deacon. There's also a lot times you'll be forced to walk really slowly which I just found a bit annoying. But these issues are by no means a dealbreaker, just nitpicks.

- Arbitrary limitations. Upon crossing the mountains over to the region in the south, you're locked there. This makes no sense, especially in an open world game. I shouldn't be limited to one half of the map when there's nothing that stops me from going over Thielsen pass back to the north aside from an invisible wall that teleports me back whenever I try going past it. It could've been handled more creatively, maybe by establishing some checkpoint you're not allowed to go through. I just felt like this was annoying.

- Fakeout death. Boozer crashes into the front doors of the wizard mountain fortress and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ explodes, but then he returns unharmed in a later cutscene. This genuinely had me really sad, until I completed the level and he was revealed to be alive. These developers cannot be playing with my heart like this.

- The beautiful graphics, lovable characters and well written antagonists, great story, incredible world, fun gameplay, well-designed UI, insanely good tension building, crazy good voice acting and animations, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOOZER. What are you waiting for?!? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy this game and play it!!

with the right mods, this game becomes something entirely different. Highly recommend starting a new playthrough with mods.

Every so many years you'll get a truly good, well-made game whose quality reflects the passion and effort of its developers. Games this good are few and far between, but when they are released for us to enjoy, they instantly achieve legendary status. And with the current state of the modern gaming industry, these games will only continue to get rarer and rarer. This is one of those games, through and through.
