I absolutely love the world building in this game. As a DM for Dungeons and Dragons I have absolutely loved taking inspiration from the world of Hollow Knight and exploring how everything connects together. The lore in Hollow Knight is just incredible. I can't really encapsulate my thoughts. Every little detail in the game works its way into a larger plot and it's so unbelievably interesting and fun to explore this world. 10/10 game, couldn't recommend more.

I've spent 420 hours playing on a laptop at 20fps and not only learnt the game but enjoyed myself (most of the time) so trust me, this game is fun for anyone and easy enough to pick up and play. The eSports scene is very fun, fairly easy to understand and interesting to watch (if you ask me) and is the main reason I picked up CS.
One major problem is one that I doubt anyone hasn't heard about: cheaters. Especially on free servers (which I dont have to deal with, thank the Lord), cheaters are a big problem and often seem to ruin the game, but honestly it is still possible to enjoy the game despite such people, and to be fair to Valve, they are (slowly but surely) sorting out the cheater problem, even if it does seem to be two steps forward and one back sometimes.
In conclusion, I can only recommend this game both to people who are looking for a game to play competitively and to people who just want to play something casually in spare time, but there is a noticeable cheater problem. Would still recommend, but I would also like to warn people about that so they arent disappointed or surprised.

Fantastic story line and sequels, a brilliant start to a brilliant series. I love playing this and wishing HL3 was here, but oh well.
