This is the first game that I hadn't heard of while watching an annual best game list on Videogamedunkey's YouTube channel and I am very happy to say that I do not regret picking it up. Outstanding game.
I was a bit sceptical going in cause I am not a huge fan of bullet hell games but I was impressed with the art style and it seemed to have elements of hack and slash and I wanted to try something different.

I'll start of with the best elements of the game, the perfect controls and mechanics, there was not even a single instance where I felt that the game pulled some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, all the boss patterns were clear and defined and any damage or deaths were solely my mistakes. I think that says a lot about the quality and attention to detail from the developers given how broken most mainstream games are these days.

This game was not easy for me, this is from some one who actually didn't have all that of a hard time in games like Dark Souls, Nioh and DMC. I would say this game is even harder than those and there were 2 bosses that brought me to verge of quitting but I didn't. Why ? The music, the sublime music. Each track gives you the urge to get back into the fight cause you want to see it through and the rush when you do beat the boss, the high is the same, if not better than the one you get from the aforementioned games.

I really hope more people try this game, it is severely underrated in my opinion.

I did not enjoy the game. Playing it felt like a chore. It is a far cry from it's predecessor, lacks the atmosphere and the innovation from the first game. Playing as a big daddy sounds fun but the movement feels weird and I did not like the adam gathering idea with the little sisters. It is just wave after wave of enemies.
Don't get me wrong, the game as a stand alone would probably be decent but coming out of Bio shock 1, I could only see flaws, the story of Bioshock 1 and the antagonists were also interesting, the antagonist in this looks and sounds like an annoying Karen. The hourly crashes in a remastered game also do not help. I think people can skip this game.

Some of the best and funniest writing in a video game..... or any media. It is an old game but definitely a must play for anyone who even slightly enjoys puzzles.

It's the Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt !! What more do you want to know ? Just buy and play it already, you'll get what everyone is talking about.

I had heard a lot of negative things about Shadow of War before buying it, that it is pay to win, animations are not good and that it was ripping off stuff from other games. I still bought it because I had loved Shadow of mordor. Now that I have finished the game, I can say with a clear conscience that I do not regret. I would have only regretted not having played the game.

You don't need to pay any more than the base game price to enjoy vast open worlds, never ending action adventure, lots of side missions, collectables, humorous and likeable characters, engaging story and probably one of the best mechanisms I have seen so far - The Nemesis system. While all of the above make this a great game, I find the last one to be truly incredible. Now is it just me being a simpleton or is the concept of enemies learning your moves and adapting to them in a video game sound like some futuristic AI stuff ? I think this is amazing. Would highly recommend this game.

I am not a fan of FPS games, mostly cause I suck at them but I also find cover shooting a dot on the screen extremely tedious and boring. For me to finish an FPS, the story has to be top notch. Metro last light's story is not only top notch but also every kind of award worthy. The gameplay was also an absolute blast coming off of Metro 2033 (also really good). The addition of some boss encounters and expanded characters along with old ones really give an experience that will not have a single complaint. Highly recommend it. I will also take the chance to say how happy I was to get the good ending for our boy Artyom, felt glad in my heart.

I played Doom a while back, didn't write a review till now cause I am lazy. But now that I am sitting here waiting to get my hands on Doom eternal, I found myself remembering some of the most badass and awesome moments I have had in all my history of playing video games. I don't like FPS games, mostly cause I suck at them but I also find cover shooting a dot on the screen to be boring and tedious. For me, an FPS has to give me an engaging story if I want to finish it.

Doom flips the genre completely, bouncing around all over the place doing what doom guy does best, RIP AND TEAR feels incredible. The story, while absolutely unnecessary to enjoy the game, is also incredibly good. Each location, enemy, weapon and artifact are very well described making the lore very interesting. Kudos and mad respect to Id for taking the time to add all of that. With this game's sequel being one of the most anticipated games ever, I am only just another fan raving about the game but this game really deserves all of the fan fare. 10/10 one of the best games ever made.

Why didn't I play any of the older games before ? I always heard that Devil May Cry was kind of a joke in the gaming community with the games being too anime, over the top, difficult and apparently some of the ones before this, pretty bad. But this game...... this game........ it is amazing. It is still anime as hell, over the top, difficult (especially if you're new) but most definitely not bad. The combat, the cinematics, the action, movement everything screams fun. And I think that one word pretty much summarises this game. It is fun, it is fun as hell. Easy to pick up and play for all types of people. Great job capcom, I hope you revamp all of your franchises in the same way.

I am not a big fan of first person shooter type games, mostly cause I suck at them but I also found cover shooting dots on the screen to be extremely tedious and boring so I always preferred hack and slash style games. For me to play a FPS, the story has to be top notch. Bioshock answered both of these for me, superb story and excellent gameplay with the addition of plasmids to an FPS. The game holds up great even after all this time. I have no complaints, I feel this is one of the must plays for any gamer.

Alright, I went into this cause there was a dry spell of new games I wanted to play and I was burnt off on the ones I already have. I wasn't expecting much, heard it was a cult classic and that's about it. After finishing this game though, I really have to ask myself why I hadn't heard of this game earlier. It is so good. I am sucker for an engaging story and this game delivers it in spades. At the same time, while the story is great and the gameplay kind of sticks in the back, there were quite a few memorable, adrenaline fuelled moments.

I have only 2 complaints - The movement is a bit janky but that's ok and the ending felt like a bit of a cop out but still makes sense based on my interpretation of it. Other than that, would highly recommend everyone to pick this up.
