Overrated and boring game with kernel level anti cheat included for a PVE game. Gameplay loop is exactly the same from the easiest difficulty to the hardest. Its a running simulator at higher difficulties. Cant believe im saying this but Destiny 2 offers more content than this game. This game at best, can be considered a very early access game.

♥♥♥♥ game currently has so much bugs that playing ranked is unplayable. getting inverted sound bug for like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 3 seasons already and ubisoft's priority is to milk as much off this clearly ageing game reaching its final few years of playability and the game engine is getting outdated and will probably not be able to handle any more updates to the game soon.

Used to be fun and rewarding, now its just a grindfest, almost every single activity requires you to do bounties just to progress the season's story. Its like they are trying to hide the fact that their content isn't enough/lacklustre by just extending the amount of ♥♥♥♥ you need to do. Very disengaging and unfun, feels like a chore after a while. 3/10 do not recommend


First and foremost, a message to all the blind fanboys condoning Bungie's predatory business model and defending this scam of an "expansion", stop sucking Bungie's ♥♥♥♥ and encouraging them to get away with ♥♥♥♥ content that aren't worth 60 bucks.

Game is even worse than before and possibly in the worst state right now with more than 70% of content being removed the most impactful being the 90% of raids gone in just one update - the only remaining raids available before the Beyond Light expansion are Garden of Salvation and Last Wish, leaving free to play players from Shadowkeep with no raids to do at all and people who paid for the expansions only THREE raids.

Content Vaulting
Titan, Io, Mars, Mercury and the Farm are now gone which mains the Red War campaign is also now unplayable leaving free to play players with no starting content at all. I mean just think about it, Destiny 2's very own main campaign is removed. Just shows how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous and desperate Bungie are after their Activision split, trying to get more money by forcing players to purchase their new expansion which should really have been Destiny 3 instead but no, they gotta milk more of the fanboys who will cash for literally anything.

The removal of these destinations have resulted in many other hidden quests such as Outbreak Perfected, Whisper of the Worm and many more being removed as well along with tribute hall, menagerie, the reckoning, strikes, forges, PVP maps, gambit prime being merged with regular gambit, weapons and armours removed, there are so much stuff being removed I cant even list them all down.

Sunsetting
The introduction of sunsetting - basically limiting all pre-Beyond Light content from reaching a certain power level in an attempt to force players to buy the expansion to get all the new and better gear which is another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scam by Bungie. This renders all grindable godroll and masterworked gear before Beyond Light useless and a waste of time with the new light level increases.

The game has been going downhill for quite a while now and with their last expansion, Shadowkeep which wasn't even made during a pandemic already being quite terrible and also another scam, you can be sure that Beyond Light has definitely hit the nail in the coffin for veteran D2 players and free to play players alike. The game was already in a bad state but I didn't think they would speed it up so fast to kill all of my motivation to even play the game. The direction that this game and the developers are taking is truly a pity and a shame.


70+ percent of original PAID Destiny 2 content is being removed and old gear earned before Beyond Light is useless. Don't bother buying any expansions, especially the new ones and don't bother to support Bungie in anyway as they will continue to dish out lazy money-grab content.

Content was not up to my expectations, with so much loose ends and a such a short story, the campaign just doesn't feel rewarding. This should have been labelled as Shadowkeep Season Pass
