Still issues with servers a couple of days after release but the devs are quite open and seem to care. The game is good fun even for myself who doesn't normally play this sort of game. My friends don't play these but I have had a good time with randoms as well as joining LFG discord groups for more coordinated games.

Teammate AI is still awful. According to VOID they tested it on every map but my dudes still get stuck on walls, doors, let themselves get shot, etc. On top of this enemy AI is trash. Even a gang banger tweaking out behaves like John Wick. Its stupid. Nearly every single map is over the top large and it makes it a chore to clear with your team. Tbh the game feels like it would do better as a SF team in somewhereistan than a SWAT game.

Dont be fooled by the videos shown on steam. It makes the game seem like it has more of a story and its a lot better than it is in terms of team AI. You wont find anything like this and honestly it feels like false advertising to me. God knows where VOID found the cheek to label this the 1.0 release because it does not feel or play like a completed game.

If you are looking for a tactical SWAT game where you actually feel like a SWAT officer taking on realistic situations then download SWAT 4 with the SEF mod. Despite being 20 years old it does nearly everything better than this game. Hopefully someone comes along in the not to distant future and makes a true spiritual successor to SWAT 4 because its certainly not Ready or Not.

I like the game but at the moment I would not recommend it.

I love the fact that its a slow paced and more tactical shooter kinda like what Rainbow Six Siege should have been and dont get me wrong, I have had a ton of fun with the game. However the game has shockingly bad network issues - regular disconnects, a lot of desync and I have even ran into invisible enemies that other players cant see. On top of that the game has no anti-cheat so you will run into players with unlimited ammo, stamina and health.

Once the game has more content and fixes the network issues as well as adds an anti-cheat I would suggest buying it, but sadly as of now I would give it a pass and check up on it again in a few months. Hopefully by then the kinks will have been ironed out.

Wish steam had a mixed choice under the recommend choices. I loved Warband and I do find this game pretty fun. Yes, Bannerlord is in early access but right now there are too many issues and bugs for the cost of $40. I love the game and am having a hell of a lot of fun playing it, and i really cant wait to see what TaleWorlds do with it. But sadly I have to say no to recommending this game right now. If not for all the bugs, glitches, issues and just terrible quests id recommend this game 1000 times over.

I normally play shooters like Squad, R6S, Battlefield and action RPG games. Despite this, Stardew Valley has managed to hook me. It perfects captures that "one more turn" atmosphere that games like Civ has. There is so much to do in this game, from mining, fishing, farming and combat. Its an awesome feeling to start from nothing and build up to a massive farm. If you liked the old Harvest Moon games you will for sure like this, if this kind of game isnt normally the kind of thing you would play i would give it a try anywhy, i did and was suprised in a good way

Cant say i would choose to play it again. The shooting and meele mechanics are clunky and the control scheme is awkward to get used too. I should get stable preformance, yet the game lags like a mother****** on my PC.

I don't think it's too much of a generalization to say that most people who want to get into Squad want a realistic and unforgiving multiplayer experience. They want their ♥♥♥♥ups to be punished, and they want to be able to punish the enemy for ♥♥♥♥ing up. They want to feel like working together as a squad will minimize the chances of ♥♥♥♥ing-up. Yet the major additions over the last two patches have all been "safety net" mechanics that mitigate player mistakes. Buddy rallies, infinite revives, and even the movement changes all come from a design standpoint of minimizing the amount that a player gets punished for being out of position, or getting caught on a flank, or getting reckless with rally points, or being ambushed by a BTR, etc.

Right now Squad's moment-to-moment gameplay feels extremely inconsequential. Spawn then run to the flag then die, repeat and repeat and repeat until you get the capture bar moving. The end result is a game that doesn't really adhere to the game's stated principles. If OWI is going to continue to keep making gameplay "safe", what's the point of teamwork?

On top of this you have a lack of teamwork and a hit and miss quality of matches when a few patches ago nearly every match was awesome.I can't remember that an entire team in V11 was hold up in a single building just because "they are shooting at us". Back in those day players immediately tried to push out and break the enemy line. I can't count how many times I have seen a good portion of the team all hiding in one building in the last weeks. Common sense seems to be missing.

HAB building has changed a lot. Back then you pull up and the entire squad focused on getting the HAB up ASAP. Now you have to plead as an SL for someone to unload the truck and half the squad already got shot because they blindly pushed into the objective. Simple stuff like "OH all the guys that went and pushed from this direction are dead maybe I should take a flank and run for 5 min longer instead of following the lemmings" It's just not the teamwork based game it once was.

To give some perspective, I used to put in a lot of my free time into this game, i loved it to bits. At times id plays 70 hours in a week if I didn't have a lot going on, so sometimes id play like 120ish hours over 2 weeks. In the last 2 weeks, i have only played 3 and a half hours. With the way Squad is at the moment, i frequently find myself hoping in Arma 3 KOTH infantry and I&A servers, which I experience more teamwork and communication.

If you are looking for a game that fosters teamwork, communication and gives you an unforgiving yet fun experiance, download Project Reality for free and give squad a miss for the time being.
