is fun, i would recommend you try your best to get your hand on the GOTR mod, it will help with performance since this is a buggy mess, but! if you REALLY want to play SR2 for the memories, and don't really care much for crashes or some glitches then its fine! its probably better then the "REBOOT"
My only real complaint is that on my main save i have 98% since i cant find the one building that i don't own. but that's a problem for me to sort out!

the game play is something that i do enjoy about this game, i'm not going to spoil anything of this game if you haven't played it (which is weird since its been out for a WHILE) yet it doesn't take itself too seriously at times, it does have its moments of that don't get me wrong. but they're written in nicely to the plot of the story!

since i have attempted to run the Saints Row 1 on a emulator i found out that for some reason that there are little to no optimisations for low end PC's with the emulator i used

to add of after some more play time and more crashes i'd say its still good! but just wait for the source code to be added in an update. (that was announced i think over 2 years ago and it hasn't come out since)

FINAL THOUGHTS:

the game is worth it for a cheap price but it is going to be rather buggy for most likely forever since the person trying to find the source code sadly passed away. so if your thinking of a remaster it most likely wont happen. so gentlemen of the row mod is your best bet!

this game is fun! thats all i have to say!!

if you decide to use shotguns, shoot the tumbleweed, you won't regret it! ;)
