I want so badly for this game to be good -- I'm pretty confident that it will be at some point but hoo buddy. lemme tell ya. this one's RUFF, even for an early access game. Have had a couple of game-breaking bugs stop two saves cold, and even when it works, the game is so vague in its systems that it is literally rocket science. HOWEVER. as someone who loves NEO Scavenger (this game's spiritual successor) and whose interest is piqued by 'spaceship life sim', this is worth picking up now to support the devs as they go about getting it right.
