This game is so complex. There is a lot to learn and figure out just to survive a weekend, but the game-mechanics are strait-forward so things will start to click. There is so much to manage that it seems overwhelming at the start (especially if you're not used to hard-core survival games). You will die early and often, stupidly and unfortunately. Getting bit is easy. When starting out, I wouldn't recommend avoiding combat because avoiding it is actually difficult to do. Zombies have a large aggro radius and they will follow you to your grave. Combat is challenging in a way that forces you to think. Learning how to kite, stagger and pre-plan combat properly is crucial. You will die if you don't try, you will die when you think you got it down, you will die if you get careless. It's not a kill'em-up game, it doesn't have to be, but combat is something you've got to get down. The bad news is, if you die, you lose all your progress of that character, but you can keep a baby clone of yourself or change up the character entirely and everything you've accomplished will be there in the world and everything you dropped can be retrieved. So if your character is going to die by zombie bite, all is not lost, you can still set up for your future kin. Everything you do takes time, which itself makes the game more immersive. I highly recommend playing with other people with comms because there will never be a dull moment, and the story you share will supplement the lack of plot. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a battle royal (cough* cough*) because the game does a great job for what it is, post apocalypse zombie survival simulator.

I bought this game on sale for $50, downloaded the h patch, and it's honestly it's still not worth. Definitely not a $70 game. At first the game seems massive and in depth because it initially takes awhile to advance to other areas, and there is a lot of features you can put into the house that you create. But by the time you complete the house you actually like, and your frames drop, you realize how limited your playthrough is. I don't recommend it, but it's not terrible so I won't immediately uninstall, but I wish I didn't pay $50 for it.
graphics: 6/10
h -scenes: 9/10
actual plot: 2/10
sound: 3/10
lasting appeal: 3/10
replayability: 1/10

I know the #1 thing you filthy animals want to know - the h scenes... They are actually pretty good. The animations are great. There are jiggle physics. The girls voices are animated. H scenes give you different position options depending on your location. You can go as long as you want and you can change the location / position / speed / clothing as much as you want. What is annoying about them though is doing them when the girl is in the mood. You essentially have to wait for this to happen, and the more specific you want to be the more frustrating it actually is to do. Like if you want a threesome (yes they exist too!) in the morning when you walk up, you got to make one girl follow you (if she's not "busy") and grab the other girl (who has to be in the mood) then struggle to make you way back to the bedroom. It's cool that a girl will do her own thing (immersive), but its frustrating when you actually got to work around their schedule. There is a bug where if you enter a h scene the resolution changes and you can't exit the scene, you can only exit the game and pray you saved recently.

There is no time-elapse feature during the day. Besides fishing and h scenes with a girl when she's in the mood, you don't interact with any other feature. You can't play with your pet, you can't sit in a hot tub, you can't interact with the swings, you can't interact with the outdoor things like chilling under the waterfall, you can't even lay in your hammock unless it's bed time. A girl you create can do such things, but you can't join her for most things (none of which I listed). Once you finish gathering resources you need (doesn't take that long, but still long enough that you dread making another gathering lap) the best thing you can do to let time pass is go afk. If you want a girl to interact with something specifically you can't make her follow you and tell her do something "fun" (that's not h scene); so if you want your girl to pole dance for you, you have to wait for her to want to do that out of everything that she has the option to do, and she always has the option to do nothing. You are very limited to what you can "chat" with the girl. You are limited to 3 girls in the game. If you replace one of those 3 girls with a newly created girl, it will take days for her to catch up to the other girl, so you can't immediately play around her personality and skills and she is less likely to do what you say. And as already mentioned, there is essentially nothing to do in the day time to make this time elapse (building your house doesn't advance time).

The only reason why I have so many hours in the game is because the house I made literally took days to complete. There were many struggles. It was a puzzle to build because I was really wanted things to fit properly.

100% well worth the small cash. I've enjoyed Wallpaper Engine enough that I gifted it to a couple of friends who were on the fence.

10/10 worth the buy. Such a fun and addicting game! Then you get a nice reward on completion. I wish there were more levels honestly. I only have 6 levels left. I highly recommend using a console controller! The standard pics are nice, but the uploaded X-rated ones are so awesome, ty uploaders.
