Absolutely loved this title. I was wishing for controller support, but its perfectly manageable with a mouse. Cute graphics. Get on sale if you're concerned about the length of the game. I thought it was well worth it.

The story for this DLC was kinda weird but I wasn't really playing this title for the story. Bosses are cool and brutal. Weapon upgrades are sweet. Final boss for this DLC was cooler than the one in the base game for me personally.

Felt hollow and uninteresting compared to other titles in the genre.

Loved this game! Really appreciated jumping from shadow to shadow. There is some jank but its worth overcoming for this one. Will return to check out the DLC after the spring sale. Was well worth the 3 bucks for the base game

Got this in a humble bundle and didn't expect anything from it. Art style is super cute, seems like the development team made it as a love project to their pet rats. Gameplay is solid, much more solid than i am at actually playing it. Why is Bloki Magu harder than the Lord of Cinder? I dunnnnnno, but I'm determined to git gud.

I got this in the last SoulsLike Humble Bundle and wasn't expecting a whole bunch, but Remnant has become my favorite game currently in my steam library.

The story is kinda meh, but where this title shines is in the gameplay and especially the co-op. When you first create a character, everything in the world is highly lethal and able to kill you in 3-4 hits. By the time you've upgraded armor and gathered some boss weapons, you will become a relatively stoppable killing machine. I really enjoy switching between playing with maxxed out players and players who are just starting out. Helping someone get their first few boss weapons is super rewarding.

I'm well over 100 hours in and still finding new unique items and secrets.

I'd argue this game is actually worth it at full price, and is a steal at a discount.

The DLC is also definitely worth it. Same meh story but the weapons and mods from Subject 2923 are especially fun for me personally.

The unique boss from the swamps of Corsus DLC is SOOOOO hard, but I've seen people online doing no-hit runs on the max difficulty, so this is definitely a skill issue on my end.

Solid sound design, and sometimes its the key between a perfect dodge and getting skewered. I also love the anxiety built by the sounds of the root warts. Usually you are not getting surprised from behind if you're paying attention to the sounds.

The co-op community is largely very supportive and non-toxic. Maybe 5% of players are problematic, and if you're hosting the game, its easy to kick or ban them. If you're not hosting, it's easy to drop out and find another game. I would recommend turning off voice chat as a rule. There's a pretty robust ping system that lets you communicate basically, and some decent e-motes.

All in all, Remnant 1 is a must buy. Gameplay still holds up strong. Do yourself a favor and get this one.

Early Access Review
I've waded through alot of early access jank but this is a real gem. Pumped to see what the developers do with their success.
