War Thunder has been one of my go-to games for a while now. I mainly play Air Arcade battles because they’re just plain fun, fast-paced dogfights, a good mix of strategy and action, and the rush of pulling off a perfect maneuver never gets old.
But the game isn’t just about planes. When I feel like switching it up, I jump into tank battles or even naval combat, and each mode feels unique. The sheer variety of vehicles is insane, tanks, planes, and ships from different nations and eras, all with their own quirks and playstyles. There’s always something new to try.
One thing I really appreciate is the level of detail. Every vehicle feels like it’s been lovingly recreated, and the maps are fantastic too. Whether you’re flying over snowy mountains or rolling through urban streets in a tank, the game looks great and plays even better.
Sure, it has its downsides, progression can be a grind, and sometimes the matchmaking can throw you into tough matches. But honestly, the gameplay is so good that I don’t mind too much.
If you love combat games, history, or just the thrill of intense battles, War Thunder is absolutely worth a try.
