Previous I mentioned this is like a gambling addiction.
I have beaten Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
I honestly was not having the best time playing elden ring up to this point but after beating Malenia
I get it now
This is cinema
The absolute rush I am feeling right now
adrenaline pumping into my head it hurts
This is the best boss fight I have ever fought

When Malenia went up in the sky suddenly and paused
as I was right in front of her I thought it was the end
but I dodged all of her waterfall attacks and killed her
that moment is the greatest moment of of my gaming

Game ends quick and the story does not go anywhere. There's no meaning to this. It's just bunch of dialogues that barley forms a coherent story. Replaying the whole game for ever so slight altercations with arbitrary conditions that you would not find on your own unless you spent hours replaying the game

Ok the review saying there's no content is straight up wrong. It's not outfits. The season pass comes with 3 Additional episodes which includes new servants usable in main game and story line. The first episode has come out today on 2/10/2024 . Ep 2 is planned to release before the end of april. Ep 3 is planned to release before end of September. You will receive all 3 episodes as they release with this pass

They really nailed the balance between playing as servants and playing as a human. I was worried that the whole game would be just mowing down enemies, mindlessly mashing before but that's not the case.

Iori starts off with two battle styles but unlocks up to 5 styles (My favs fire and water style). You can't mindlessly mash as Iori, you have to dodge and attack to defeat enemies. Bosses have gauges that makes it harder for Iori to dmg until it is broken. He can only break them during when enemies are glowing after attack so it forces you to dodge and attack.
But once you fill the substitution gauge you can play as up to 2 servants for a short period of time. Servants can break enemies armor gauge more quickly and still dish out more dmg. You can mow down enemies more quickly than Iori but that's only for a short period which is what makes it balanced.

But don't worry there's whole side quests where you get to play as almost all the servants ( so far I've played as all of them except 3) with each their own unique move sets alone. Even enemy servants. There's multiple opportunities to play as just servants themselves during spirit fronts

If you're a fate fan this is a must buy. You'll see a lot of familiar faces and enjoy participating in a holy grail war. If you're not a fate fan but fan of samurais I recommend trying it out . You get to play as son of Miyamoto Musashi, Miyamoto Iori mastering Musashi's dual katana style. The dual different variations of dual katana styles really fun to play as especially the fire style where you do more dmg and hit faster the lower your health is.

First the combat is vastly different from yakuza 0 and kiwami 1. At first I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hated the new combat but as the game went on with some very important upgrades such has lotus furious fist it can make the combat way more enjoyable. Make sure to learn moves from komaki as soon as you can because it will make the combat more enjoyable and it does not take too long to learn it. The combat is has upgrades that take part of all 4 combat styles from previous 2 games but the basic one you start with suck ♥♥♥♥ so make sure to get good upgrades. Next the new exp system is categorized into 5 different exp types. Now you can farm exp way easier with eating food other than beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of enemies for million ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years like kiwami 1. Now the story was ok for me. I thought some part was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. I personally enjoyed the side content way more. The cabret club and clan system is back. The cabret club story line continues on from yakuza 0 and you do get to see the chracters from cabret club again. The cabret club also has new mechanics for girls and restrictions that make the game interesting and not stale. Talking to platnium hosts now can trigger sub stories you can do that are quite enjoyable. Lastly the graphics in this game it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOOTIFUL.

This game pales in comparison to yakuza 0 so don't get your hopes too high. It does have very annoying bosses and the story is way shorter then yakuza 0. I finished the main story in 20 hours. My main problem with this game is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bosses they have. One of them has 2 henchmen who are constantly shooting at you ( when you are shot you have to constantly smash the A botton) and the main boss who throws mf gernades at you. This was genuinley not fun at all to fight against. Hell this boss was way harder than the final boss of this game. Buut..the new majima system and the substories made this game more enjoyable. Even though some bosses are just not fun to fight against I still had quite enjoyment.

Game is a buggy mess with tidious puzzles that disconnects the flow of the gameplay. Combat is good. Story is ok. It was anti climactic
